replacement mattress

Hi All,

First thanks for reading this question. We have a Coachmen travel trailer. It has a queen sized bed and we need to replace the mattress. What do we need to consider when choosing the replacement? I am getting close to retirement so this mattress will get used a lot.

    If you'll use the search function on this - or any - RV forum, you'll find many threads and discussions on this topic.

    That said, we prefer good-quality foam mattresses (we have a Tuft & Needle queen size in our rig), but you have to consider moisture mitigation on a solid platform so you don't get mold or mildew. There are ventilated substrates available to manage moisture designed for RVs and boats.
