I just did a swap on my magnatek I would look at the pd4600 series. It is just my opinion but the temp control system you are talking about is just trying to compete with PD battery wizard 4 stage charger. As you will see in my post the 4600 is super easy and is a better product. but just my opinion. here are a few links.
