Replacing power cord

Question

My power cord of my hybrid must have come disconnected wnen I drove around camp ground and dragged causing the raised rubber rectangle that makes it fit into the vehicle plug come off. Therefore, it needs to be replaced.

Has anyone replaced the complete power cable or just the 7 way plug end?

Sure have. All you need is two screwdrivers, a small one to remove the grub screw and a larger one for the rest. Take a closeup or make a drawing of the wires as they come off so you can reconnect them to the right terminals.

Standard flat blade screw drive plus a set of strippers. Note the conductors are of different gauge. A 1/4 inch screw drivers for connections. Verify size for securing the shell of the connector It may take a smaller one.
