I use the awning pull to close the outside latches when I hit the road but I'm not sure they're even needed.
Awesome Idea!!! I had the flap, flap, flap issue last weekend for the first time. I crawled out of bed at 2am and slide the little latches over (6'3" and step stool to just barely reach it).
