Replacing the range exhaust vent

Curious I looked at the cable control unit-no specs or how it works (or installed). Did note though it and all other modles (except manual) are made from Color-Fast Geloy. The basic manual cover that most of us have are made from styrene. So may be better.
Im not convinced its sunlight that yellows them though, may speed the process but ours the back inside of cover and flapper itself also yellowed?
The cable units are nice-hidden screws, rounded corners but would need to verify that outside frame dimension will cover original frame holes, looks the same but the cut out size is different?
For a little extra (like x7) Ventline shows a 12v solenoid operated unit!
