I just took delivery of my TC and FastGuns. I thought about SS vs. powder coat and ultimately decided on SS as, in my experience which is admittedly mostly in the marine world, powder coat inevitably chips and peels. Love the FastGuns and was also instructed to snug the rubber ring to the bottom and to make sure that it pulled out no more than 1/4" when locking them down.
You were smart getting the SS Fastguns. After 3 years of use my SS Fastguns still look like new. Ive seen too much powder coated stuff peel over the years.
