Reviews on a trailer.....

Folks on that forum are pretty darn honest - they've been riding the changes at Crossroads and aren't afraid to call a spade a spade.....

I know there is a forum specifically for Crossroads RV but I my experience is that the product specific sites tend to have a slight bias towards being one of the best "insert product" available. I am planning on checking posts there as well but wanted to get a large cross reference of opinions. Thanks for all the comments so far.....

As for the search function statement, I tried before posting but was met with an error message three times. It was either down or there is something on y end here at work preventing me from using it.

Don't know if Sunset is any better but build (lack of) quality on our 2005 Crossroads Zinger was terrible. Windows never quit leaking despite annual caulking. Fridge fell out of its mount because it was supported by a screw into paneling instead of framing. Dealer who sells them steered us to another brand--said he just sells them for people who want them. Appliances all worked fine. It was just bad assembly. Roof decking did not line up to trusses with nails protruding into the rubber roof. I agree the Sunset is attractive, but I just could not do another Crossroads. There is a difference between cheap and just plain sloppy assembly.

Crossroadsrv.com/forum is a good place to start. IMHO Crossroads was a great company to buy from, now the products are marginal at best. Read the forum, plenty of QA issues and folks who have fled to other brands.
