I'd disagree with the earlier posts saying portholes and bumps don't damage truck campers.
I've broken a water tank drain connection, the frame of the TC at the basement area and had a couple electrical problems present themselves after particularly nasty bumps. We are talking about unmarked speed bumps here, but the damage can be real over bumps.
