The reason I asked the question is that I hit a pot hole in Alaska on a paved hwy that dented my rim on the MH and tow car. I had to bang both rims back into shape with a hammer and move the damaged one to a spare. Another fellow I was traveling with broke a spring on his 5th wheel. Sometimes things happen. I was just concerned that if I hit that same pot hole with a TC would the tie down attachment weaken on the camper or tear out.
