Thats NY state for you!. Any Pick-up is plated commercial, even a little Ranger! But that of course doesn't help with your locality.
Sorry but you are WRONG! I have a F350 CC 4x4 with passenger plates. Legally. Regester the truck at DMV with a picture of the TC on it. Tell them its attached and exclusivly used as an RV. I did this with my last 2 F350s. If you do happen to drive the truck without the TC obey the rules for a commercially plated truck. You will not be ticketed.
