Yeah, law enforcement makes no sense... You're making my point for me.
There are examples of disproportionately enforced laws in the news every day. They let convicted felons caught red-handed committing felonies off with warnings or tickets every day, and make "examples" out of otherwise law-abiding citizens doing something benign like hauling a 2x4 in the back of a pickup truck that's registered as an RV.
You can't tell me that the person driving the unlicensed, unregistered, uninsured car was otherwise a perfect angel...
