We also have friends that take cruises darned near as often as we camp. There aren't many places they haven't been. Their trips sound wonderful and they enjoy them. So more power to them....they leave again for a 6 week trip in Nov/Dec. We have a list in our minds - that may be the problem - of places we'd like to visit right here in the lower 48. Some really aren't terribly far, just haven't actually spent time there. The whole state of KY is a trip in itself. We want to visit Asheville/Biltmore area. DH spent some work-related time in Savannah and would love to return....my mother was born there. Would like to get back to the UP....awesome place and another day and The Henry Ford. We are just perfectly happy to hook up Rocky and head out. Different strokes. And our yearly trek to FL for DS#1 is a given and we all have a great time....that is the only time he'll camp is when baseball is involved, otherwise he hates camping. Which is also good because it gives us all a bit of time alone.
