DUH!, didn't even notice your screen name. I showed DH the floorplan last night and we had exactly the same responses and his re the trip to the bathroom. But if you rarely would have guests, no problem. One thing we found on our 2604 is that the standard door from the living area to the bathroom HAS to be closed when you put the slide in....don't even ask how we know this, just thankful DH can fix anything. His thought on your bathroom door is that possibly you could use just a small bungy and secure the door open - ASSUMING is clears the slide and then getting in and out would be easier.
Have you pulled the trigger on this yet or still pondering? While I was on the RVW website I noticed a couple other new or slightly modified models in this same size range. I find it surprising that you see lots of smaller size TT or HTT, 23' or so, then it jumps to the 30'+ and up. Even if we had a tow vehicle that was compatible with a larger TT, we still see no need for it when it's just 2 of us 99% of the time. Maybe this size is getting more popular.
