Rockwood Roo 19
Hello everyone I'm new to this fourm and also new to TT. My wife and I are looking to purchase a 2009 Rockwood Roo 19. It's in excellent shape and only used briefly for 3 summers by a retired couple....

I'm absolutely certain if anything goes wrong it will be with my tranny and not the safety of the vehicle or passengers. As I mentioned a few times now the santa fe rated to tow 5000 pounds weighs 100 pounds more then mine. So maybe we should be saying good luck to those with thay vehicle who tow more weight then there vehicle weighs. Mine weights 3862 and the XL weighs 3946 and there is a 1500 pound weight option for towing. This goes against everything you guys are saying. I understand what your trying to say it just doesn't jive with what I'm reading in the entire section of my owners manual. Have you ever looked at what Europeans rate vehicles for ??
Like Europe we rate the SUV's higher. I would suspect that manufacturers, rate SUV's and cars , if they have a rating in the US, a lot lower, as they want to sell Pickups rather than SUV's for towing. Still there are anomalies, the Sprinter has a much lower limit in Australia, than the U.S. and US Pickups much lower tow ratings
