Chuck, sorry but I have to disagree with you on this statement. I pull the same trailer as you except with mine is an '09. I pull with a 2500HD most of the time and I just use the 2 and 5/16 ball no sway either.
When I pull with our '09 Grand Cherokee I used the reese dual cam sway control.
