Think maybe I understand how it works now. We bought the Equalizer at the time we bought the ROO - DH wouldn't consider towing without. Still not sure I understand the reluctance some folks have, but we feel better knowing the ROO will likely be staying behind the truck - as opposed to in front of or next to - and that it'll be on it's wheels. I had never driven/towed over about 15 or 20 miles since we got the ROO until this past summer when DH got sick just this side of San Antonio and I got OJT. I was amazed at how easily the ROO towed. Glad we made the investment.
