I don't know anything about the newer jaycos but my 2007 has got me so scared of them that I don't even like to walk near one. I do have too say that Jayco did their best for 3yr. on a 2yr. warranty. But I'm still fighting rot, top and bottom. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm overloaded just do to the amount of caulk Ive put on it. And I can't afford to get rid of it. Plus I just won't dump all this on someone else and maybe destroy some newbes camping experience. I bought mine brand new so go over anything you may be interested in very, very closely and good luck.
