Correct - it is simply loose and not perfectly tight to the roof in this spot. The caulk seam is still intact. The loose rubber part is appx. 3 inches long. It wasn't like this when I covered it in March.
It is very common even on brand new trailers and most folks do not do anything to it unless the area becomes larger, begins leaking, or traps air in it when under tow. You will need to monitor it.
