Aug 18, 2016Typically you'll find EternaBond tape in widths from 2" to 12". The width needed is determined by the area that needs to be covered. It comes in the typical colors, white, black, grey, and tan.
With EternaBond tape, the preparation and installation are critical. If the surface isn't prepped properly or the tape isn't installed according to the directions then the tape will eventually lift. This will allow water to enter.
When done properly, the tape will outlast the trailer. Removing the stuff is a pain in the butt, which is a good and bad thing. If there's something on the roof that you know will be replaced or removed, don't bother putting the tape on it. It will save you a lot of swearing when it's time to actually remove the item lol.
