I agree, If it were mine I would take a single edge razor in a holder and cut off the dicor and seal it with Eternabond tape. That stuff is great! I noted that on my roof, the dicor was only two years old and started to crack and I had a leak and didn't know it until wife opened a rear closet. I jumped into action, climbed up on roof, scrapped away all the dicor I could, cleaned the area with Acetone and laid down Eternabond tape over the seem. Went into the closet, pull out any damaged and damp material and lined the closet in cedar. Wife happy as a lark!
