Rotella for GAS Engines

Just saw the commercial for the first time tonight: Rotella for gas engines. It comes in a red jug. They say it's for oil for gas trucks.

Is it an additive for oil?

    NO. It is "synthetic" oil.

While I don't know for sure, I suspect that there is little difference from T6, which is good for diesel, gas and even motorcycles.

I would NOT use this stuff in the red jug for a motorcycle without verifying the contents to be sure it is OK for wet clutches.

Same here... My wife's Dexos requiring Buick is the only gas engine that doesn't have Rotella.
