Running a 120v AC television using 12-volt adapter

I would think this had been addressed here previously but I tried the advanced search and also a regular internet search and couldn't find a definitive answer. I'm looking for a 24" TV for my TT....

The question I would ask is how tolerant the appliance is to voltage fluctuations over voltage. My PD converter puts out 14.4V during boost phase as does the Morningstar solar controller. A DC DC buck converter could regulate this to 12VDC.
