I don't know why folks post all the stuff about using propane when traveling when you don't want to do that. You do realize that your fridge is about as "high end cooler" as you can get. If it is already cold, it will stay that way a long time even if not running at all.
A fridge in a travel trailer is not a high end cooler, it barely has any insulating value at all. I had mine out in the garage for a short while, plugged into an hour meter on 120 Volts and monitored just how often it had to run to stay cold.... Over a one week period (168 hours) it ran for 4998 minutes (83.3 hours)
My propane fired water heater for my house only ran about 1200 minutes in a one week period!
