Running the fridge on 12 Volts?

For those paying attention, what the OP is asking about is not really feasible, but allaying his concerns about traveling with the fridge on propane is the next logical choice to meet his needs- running the fridge in transit.
It's really about helping others meet their needs, which sometimes means making the effort to help them meet their needs using any of our experiences, even when a poster doesn't ask that question directly.
I've been a poster like that in the past and appreciated the advice given. I'm sure the OP can easily understand the points being made in this thread, to his own advantage ;)
