Rust Protection

We're taking delivery of a new 2015 Ram this coming Saturday. I'm going to call Ziebart and schedule an appointment probably the following Monday and have "the full monty" done to it. Clear coat, rustproofed, undercoated and interior stain protection. My brother did it on his 2013 Ram and so did my B-I-L on his truck.

B-I-L has had ALL of his vehicles done by Ziebart over the years and is a huge fan. He's made a believer out of me. Just MHO. :W

Had forgotten about that one mower with an aluminum deck...rotted away to expose

Guess lawn juice was too corrosive for it...know it was the fertilizer & lawn juice
that did it in

Gone back to steel decked (not riding) lawn mowers.

Many commercial landscapers use that product on mower decks. It prevents corrosion and keeps the clippings from sticking on the underside. I'm not sure how often you need to reapply Fluid Film verses the rubberized coatings.

"Krown Rust Control" has a spray shop in the thumb of Michigan just north of Port Huron. I've had my stuff treated there since 04. My 06 D-Max is 100% rust free.

And sorry but the coating that comes on the frames is a joke and won't be there very long. It's there to make sure the frame looks good until it's sold and nothing more.
