I prefer our state parks in Texas vs rv campgrounds. I still get my water and electricity (& sometimes sewer), but also get the elbow room, trails and scenery that I love.
The wife, on the other hand, doesn't mind being bumped up next to somebody else and wants cable tv and a pool vs nature.
I camp alone frequently. Lol
