Many years ago I regularly camped in the mountains of the northwest in all 4 seasons, with and without tents, even in the snow. As "mature folk", we now occasionally stay at "camp grounds", many with nice amenities like electricity, but we love to get off the beaten path and "rough it" while boondocking in our self contained RV. Gotta have that nice mattress and nearby bathroom.
