Lots of people like memory foam mattresses in their RV's. We tried that and it was too soft, we both woke up with sore backs. Tried for multiple nights. Had to return it. We are both average weight for our ages and found the memory foam to just give under our weight and become very uncomfortable after a night or two.
Whatever you do, make sure it has a 30 or 60 day sleep guarantee and can be returned or donated for full refund. We went with Mattress Insider only because of the return guarantee. Made in America, and they were great to work with. We ended up with a different mattress they make that is much firmer than the standard memory foam mattress.
