R-Vision made a Trail-Cruiser version of my trailer with and without the bunk end. The one with the bunk weighed about 75 lbs more. (Presumably for the canvas and mattress...)
It's not much added weeight, but it's not less as others were saying.
They are lighter when you compare the weight to space ratio. My 233S has three queen size beds (all tent end types). Plus dinette and sofa can be converted if necessary. A traditional TT would have to be much bigger and heavier to sleep as many. I don't know of any that could do it, honestly.
