I prefer the glass enclosure since they are easier to clean on a daily basis with a squeegee and I don't have to fiddle with ensuring that it makes a good seal so that no spray leaks out. Don't know what the wife prefers but that is what the RV came with and since we like the floor plan it would not have been an issue anyway.
