200' of hose fits nicely on a reel and is there in case I need the distance. It's not nuts if it stays rolled up and compact...in fact I had many, many RV'ers around me ask if they could borrow my hose to fill up so they didn't have to transport water. The hose travels on the back of my camper on the hitch tray. It's just the cost to get 200', so I may cut it back to 150' instead.
