Well, before y'all dismiss ST tires, we've had Marathon ST 205/75R16 Load Range C tires on both our 5,000# 22ft. TT and our new 7500# 28ft. TT and have been around the country with both trailers with nary a problem. I recall a tire seminar where the mftr. engineer claimed the ST tires have more anti-ozone chemicals in them since they sit more than trucks, and I think I recall the sidewalls are somewhat thicker than LT tires because RV owners tend to scrape their tires more on curbs and such. FWIW
How does sitting relate to ozone exposure?
Aren't ST sidewalls more, not less, flexible to help with tire scrubbing on multi-axle TTs? IOW, they allow more give before they scrub.
Where are the blowout posts by LT owners?
