Safety in popup for single woman?

I'm considering all options for the RV I will buy. I really like the compactness of popups and figure they would be easy to handle, but I'm a single woman traveling by myself. I imagine criminals cutting through the sides, wild animals clawing their way in, etc.

Are there ways to improve safety of the popup, or should I cross this type of RV off of my list?

    From what I have seen, most women seem to prefer either a class B or C unit more than something that you have to exit the vehicle to get inside the living quarters.

    You should cross 'criminals cutting thru the sides' off the list, unless of course you like RV parks in the seedy parts of town.
