I'm curious, what good do dash/rear cams do in an accident? Would the cops use them to see who's at fault? Would the insurance companies do anything different if they had video?
I don't know so I'm asking....
Cops don't investigate accidents to start with.
They just make the report of what they see and leave rest for insurance.
When you have camera, you don't want to mention that you have it.
Let the other party lie their lungs off and them confront them with video evidence.
On other forum member had a video where on big parking lot, guy in front of him went on other side of driveway, than changed his mind and backed up without looking, crushing front of member car.
So the guy has no insurance, no registration and damage to his rear. How do you think he would testify in court with no video?
Cops don't investigate accidents??? Who are those guys who do then, imposters?
Isn't observing what happened and making a report of what they see an investigation?
Regarding your comment about some other forum member's incident, that's worth having a dash cam for.
