Far as I'm concerned, cell phones are the worst electronic invention of the 21st century. If I must use one (I have one), it's always hands free or I pull over on the berm and use it.
I think anyone in an accident where the cell phone is contributory should have a minimum 30 days in the slammer.
I always wonder what is so important that people need to answer a call when driving.?
Cell phones are great invention, people just need to pull over, stop then talk.
Btw
In Ontario its 500$ fine nowadays for distracted driving.
^ You must be retired. Or have a job that doesn’t require talking to people on the phone frequently.
I spend a minimum of 2 hours on the road everyday to and from work and average 3-4 hours behind the wheel daily commuting or during work.
I also make and receive an average of, idk, 4 or 5 full iPhone screens worth of calls a day.
Pulling over for every call in the car would add a couple hours minimum to my already 12hour workday and make me late to everything, not to mention less time on the job or behind the desk.
Nice opinion, but it’s the 21st century now!
