Sales tax question
If I'm a SD resident and purchase. A new vehicle in NC, which state's sales tax do I pay? I believe it's SD. What say you? Thanks in advance.

So a call to both states' DMV might be prudent. Or do as I did and go online to see what you need.
Best answer. ^^^^^^^ If you buy in Indiana and the state that you reside does not have a reciprocal agreement, you will pay the Indiana tax. I'm sure many states work the same way.
