This TT sold at
Copart on May 1 2014 in Chicago. In those pictures you can see that the LF corner was damaged... not that bad. Converting a salvage to rebuilt title is not that hard and then you can get a tag. Why the seller has not done this is surprising. In GA it cost $118 to have the repairs inspected. With the pictures from last year you should not have any problems getting the title changed and like previous poster you do not need separate insurance on it. I would not be afraid of this unit if it goes for half of what a non salvage title one is worth BUT you need to plan on owning it for a long time as most are afraid of hidden damage. This one was not in a flood/water as Copart is good about listing this as the salvage title will say so.
PS: I've bought several RVs and vehicles from Copart and I really like hail damaged ones as they were probably running good when dented. I agree with the above post that often a salvage title is put on something that the owner should have kept and pocked the money to repair.
