salvage title

I bought a TT on a salvaged title. In MI, 'clean' is green, mine was orange, clearly stated 'salvaged title'. In order to get a 'salvaged rebuilt title', which is still orange, I had to pay $100 to the local sheriff, a police officer was sent out to inspect the trailer and the repair I did, had to have copies of all receipts. The officer gave me the inspection approval form. I did have to fill out a form from the SOS stating all work that was done, by who and what replacement components, which everything on the official list was only for vehicles. Pay for the new rebuilt title and a plate, I can legally pull my TT.
I was wishy washy on buying a salvaged but I'm so glad I did now.
