Scam artist

I've gotten to the place where I only put a phone number on CL and not my e-mail address. People can e-mail from anywhere in the world. Guys like this one won't call. Got a strange reply to a CL listing when renting out a condo. The guy said he lived in England, was moving to the U.S., would have his agent contact me etc. Even named a company he said he worked for. Did a quick search on-line and found the guy was well know on the internet for trying scams and the company he said he worked for had never heard of him. Got a virus on my computer not long after so, watch out for that. That's why I never put my e-mail on a CL ad. You can also use a blind CL address but you, eventually have to call or e-mail inquiries.
When I sold my previous TT on CL, I had the guy meet me at his credit union. I brought the title and he had them make out a check to me while I watched. I then towed the trailer over to his house and dropped it off.
