Thanks. I'll investigate this a little further. I don't have a Droid phone. Don't have a "smart" phone of any kind, but I could spring for a "burner" Android phone.

They all use the same interface/communication with the computers in your vehicle. So if Ford offered it, any of them can read it. Best to check an F-150 forum for that. If not, then you need to install your own trans temp sensor and gauge.
