I've seen this alot as we walk around campgrounds and wondered why myself, we've never had them. Our TC has a hand rail that came with it and it makes a huge difference in the feeling safe dept. We carry those plastic arobic steps which are different heights, and stackable if need be. I know we all have our limits and $1600. is quite a bit of money, but it's a whole lot less than you'll be giving some Dr. or hospital. Try the hand rail that folds out first, before you spend a whole lot of your hard earned money,good luck.
