Sealing a Fiberglass roof
We have had several roof leaks over the 10-year life of our motorhome, most of which have been fixed. But the latest one is putting water into our ceiling and could possibly compromise the integrity of the ceiling and roof. We have done many leak repairs in recent years including Eternabond, replacing rusted screws, fixing patio awning leak (manufacturer warranty defect) and replacing roof vents, skylights, etc. We are very frustrated. A SealTech test back in 2010 was very little help.
Has any one had any success with those expensive roof resealing systems advertised in some of the RV pubs? I contacted one last year while in Arizona, but they did not follow up with me. I am very close to a complete roof reseal to eliminate the leakage once and for all. It's not cheap (around $4500) but I still value our rig and plan to keep it a while longer. I just want to get the "right" company if I do it.
