Seam leaking from front cap movement. Need help

I have an '13 Passport. The front cap has all kinds of waves in it near the top as it rounds up to the roof. There is a metal hold down bracket that spans the seam. I have put Dicor on it twice alread...

I have one little spot where the cap meets the roof that the caulking has cracked three times over 13 years. I finally covered the area with some Eternabond Tape.
I dont think I'll ever have to deal with it again because the tape will bend and give slightly.
