Search for new tow vehicle

I started my search in earnest for a new tow vehicle yesterday. I am befuddled with it already. If you want a 1/2 ton truck you can find one on every lot. If you want a 3/4 ton you may find something that will work. If you want a 1 ton truck then you are SOL......I guess I will have to order one to get what I want. Too bad there is not a clearing house that you could go to and enter in what you want, what options etc and it would tell you where it is......

Yeah, try to find a long box. Most of 'em are going for grocery getters.

Auto Trader has good search features. Link is a search I did in a 300 mile radius of my zip code. Randu

Bob, EVERY dealer has that option available to them, IF they want to help you. However, I have found that most do not, unless they are a small dealer like those in Citrus County. Most of the urban dealers want to sell what is on their lot, NOT buy one from another dealer just to make you a customer.
