Seasonal, No Sewer Hookup, What to Do With Black Tank

we went seasonal this year and our number 1 requirement was full hookups,I done the tote tank thing many times(grey and black ) weekend camping but we now camp every weekend with our seasonal site and I would not wanna deal with the tote tank every weekend,If you plan on using the seasonal site a lot I would look at other campgrounds with full hookup or honeywagon service if your not gonna use it a lot then you could get by with a tote.

I knew a man that use to put sewer lines in for a living. Sometimes he had to connect into a existing line. He tells story's of going down into big sewer lines in a wet suit and watching tampons float by.

There is no Honey Wagon service around me but, there are a couple of Seasonal parks. Most people use there blue tote and rinse it out after dumping. No reason to freak out about it. You must be sanitary and careful but, the men running the Honey Wagon's do this for a living and there not dead so why will it kill you if your careful? After all it's your own poop. Even at your home somebody had to deal with it somewhere after you flush.

I did the conversion for several folks on the picnic table in the campground,works great and much quieter . I don't understand folks having such a problem with using this procedure . If you are worried don rubber gloves,I never do but I grew up in farm country so a little thing like this is nothing to me! JMHO jb

You cant. Only Mods can do that. If the Mod for this forum doesn't notice in a short while, click the "notify Mod" link and ask him to delete them. If I had priviliges in this forum I wold do it but don't have them.

Isn't it great to watch thoise ships. We get up there every chance we get. Have you tried the "Marine Traffic" app? It will show you the position of all ships all over the world. It includes photos and all info on any vessel traveling the St. Lawrence. It's great to know when they're are going to pass by.
