Congrats Lion!! Yes, going to an RV show can be dangerous! But hey, at least you got the "horse" before you got the cart. That way you were able to shop freely without worry.
I agree with you about the state parks here. We do most of our local camping in them, and quite often are accompanied by my SIL and her husband. They tow a 38 ft Raptor toy hauler, and we can always find spots together (If we reserve soon enough)! In fact we'll be in Grayland SP two weekends from now, praying for good weather. See you round, and best of luck with your new "Home".
Thanks for the good wishes. Nice to find another Washingtonian. Our first trip is the July 4 weekend at Lake Curlew SP...we love that place. We are also going to Cape Disappointment, Lincoln Rock, and in August, Yellowstone and Glacier Nat Park.
I was very very impressed with Heartland and the quality of the FW. Our dealer, Fife RV has turned out to be great. Wonderful service department, no problems with any issues. The salesman also told me to remember to keep my hitch and sell it, plus my 2nd battery. I read so many horror stories on here about bad dealers. Fife is giving a great trade, credit for my extended warranty, plus a truly nice price on the FW.
