Second 1,000,000 Mile Tundra

Fun little video.

Here is the Link

The first 1,000,000 mile Tundra also had the small V8. Interesting.

Thanks!

  • A Kenworth OTR truck recently went a million miles with the same synthetic oil. They used supplementary micro filtration and changed filters on a regular basis. They used some oil additives.
  • I sure wish I could get that many miles out of a seat, I guess if it were all highway and not as much in and out mine would last longer.
  • ...and then there was Irv Gordon who put 3.2 million miles on his '66 Volvo P1800 sportscar.
  • Impressive... 100k miles on tires and 1 water pump.

And recently someone said a OHC design is not reliable.

It will pull the space shuttle AND last a million miles. What more could you ask for? :)

Actually I think the space shuttle requires the 5.7L...:B

  • I think the Tundra was over engineered when Toyota first entered the full size truck market in 2000 trying to compete with the Big 3 and steal some market share. We've had our 2001 4.7 towing 7000+ lbs for almost 18 years up to the high sierras without any trouble whatsoever and still going strong... a GREAT 4/5 truck!!
