It is true. I think many of us who have RVd for a long time have gotten burned once. As acer2015 post mentions a lot of dealers are aware of this. Some still push those policies, some don't. When I am shopping for an RV these are things to be aware of when making an offer. Since I know that a lot of the repairs on a new unit will be done by me. Especially if I live a considerable distance from where I purchase the RV I voice that up front when making offers or negotiating. Plus even if the warranty is good most problems won't show up until after it expires. RVers that full time will have problems show up sooner because of use but others may not see problems until way past the warranty. JMHO
