Secure generator compartment door

I don't live or relax in high crime areas , but just as I feel the need to drive defensibly , I take care not to leave myself open to @$$holes that rip people off , but there is only so much you can do . I think if someone rips a comp dr open and sees a cable locked up gen by then I hope they are worried about getting caught and hopfully didn't know they had to bring bolt cutters with them
Auto makers don't all use the same keyed locks , and you can get into any of them with a rock too
Changing lock cyls is just in case to even if you only have coveralls and gloves in there , you might need them.
I even put the exposed fresh water drain in a small comp on the last two campers I`ve had because I might need that water, don't need someone opening it for kicks, samething with the fresh fill on a Northstar that wasent lockable , didn't want someone putting God knows what in my water , even though I keep bottled to drink
I did even see a 5th wheel I looked at buying a few years ago that an older lady was selling ,that someone had cut the power, propane lines and unbolted the onan gen and made off with
Its not a leave it to beaver world we live in any more, O how I wish it was
