It has been my understanding that the ORP Valve on propane bottles will auto close if you break (damage) the tubing or supply lines.
And, no one will fill a propane bottle that doesn't have a ORP valve.
The fire that I'd worry most about involves gasoline... the tank on a portable generator and the gasoline storage containers that are probable being stored along side the portable generator.
There is no way in this world that I'd store gasoline in my wheel wells (but I have read that people do it that are members of this forum.)
